ASA Brooklyn Avengers Women's Basketball Team Strong Defense Led to Win vs County College of Morris

Randolph, NJ – The ASA Brooklyn Avengers women's basketball team travelled to New Jersey to play against County College of Morris on November 19th 2019.

After a couple of tough losses on the road, the Avengers were able to bounce back to win 45-30 against County College of Morris.  In the game, #3 Akilah Stewart was the points leader with 14 while #20 Arianna Johnson also added in 10 points.

"It was good to get a win after a couple losses," said ASA Brooklyn Avengers women's basketball head coach Anthony Dulin.  "Definitely good for us to enjoy the feeling of winning again."

On the offense – "I felt like we could've shot the ball better but we did enough to win," said Coach Dulin.  "It was definitely a balanced attack.  Everyone chipped in and it wasn't a one-man offense."

On the defense – "We're definitely seeing improvements on our defense game by game," said Coach Dulin.  "We did a good job of holding them to 30.  Having a strong defense gives us an opportunity to win every game."

The ASA Brooklyn Avengers women's basketball team plays their next game against Five Towns College in Long Island on November 20th 2019.
