ASA Brooklyn Avengers Women's Basketball 2019-20 Season Preview

Brooklyn, NY - The ASA Brooklyn Avengers women's basketball team is coming back for the 2019-20 season after last season's hiatus.  The Avengers women's basketball program, known for their multiple trips to the National Tournament, is led by new head coach Anthony Dulin.  Coach Dulin is joined by assistant coaches Carl Isidore and Javon Mack on the coaching staff.

Quotable from the Coach:
On the team: "We got a group of young ladies who are working hard.  They want to be great and want to have a memorable season.  Obviously, we have a brand-new group, with no returners, and we're just trying to put the pieces together but that will not stop us from working hard and winning. We're locked in, with our heads down, and putting in the work for a successful season.

On the court: "We have a team that will compete at a high level and with a high level of intensity we will also have the right attitude.  We will hold each other accountable to be successful.  We want to try and always hang tough on defense while playing an exciting brand of basketball."

On the season: "We're optimistic and looking forward to the season.  We put together a very competitive schedule.  It's going to be a challenge but we have been putting in the work to be ready to compete every game."

Expectations for the season: "There's always been a high standard here at ASA, and we don't intend on changing that this first year.  We're aiming to go back to the Nationals."

The ASA Brooklyn Avengers women's basketball team plays their season opener against the Nassau Lions and then travel to New Rochelle the following week to play in the Monroe Women's Classic.  The Avengers play their home opener in January, 2020
