Brooklyn, NY– The ASA Brooklyn Avengers men's lacrosse program plays their second game of the 2019 season at home in Aviator Sports Complex against Finger Lakes CC. With two days of practice under the belt after their first game of the season against Jefferson CC. The team looked to bounce back.
The Avengers arrived at the field in a windy, 40-degree night-time weather with minimal time to warm-up and started the game with a lackluster effort. The Avengers finished the first quarter 6-2, better than they did on the scoreboard versus the first game, the game eventually ended in a blow-out from the second quarter onwards. "It wasn't the effort we wanted to see this game," said men's lacrosse head coach Christopher Tempone. Although the Avengers was able to come alive late in the 4thquarter, it was too late. "We needed to see a better effort from start to finish," said Tempone.
The ASA Brooklyn Avengers men's lacrosse team travels on the road for their next game of the season against College of Southern Maryland at Delaware Tech on March 24th, 2019.
