Brian Slack Hired As New Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach

BROOKLYN, NY --- Athletic Director Kenney Wilcox recently announced the hiring of new Men's and Women's Tennis Coach Brian Slack, the third Head Coach of Men's & Women's Tennis in the history of ASA College.

Coach Slack comes to ASA from Vincennes University, where he was an assistant coach since 2006. Slack helped led the Trailblazers to the 2011 NJCAA Men's National Championship and was named the 2010 ITA National Assistant Coach of the Year.

As a member of the 2000-01 Trailblazer squad, Slack was the NJCAA national runner-up at Number 2 Doubles as that VU team earned a fourth place finish at the National Championship Finals.

Following his VU playing career, Slack moved on to play at IUPUI from 2001-04 and holds that program's record for most career Singles victories. At IUPUI, Slack earned his bachelor's degree in fitness and sports studies.
