#6 Ranked Women's Soccer Extends Unbeaten Streak At National Tournament

It was a busy day offensively for the unbeaten Avengers. ASA spent the majority of the game on the attack, with a season high 31 total shots, 15 of them on goal.  Estelle Badoadana and Tamara Queiroz both led the way for the Avengers with seven shots each.

Despite having 14 shots in the first half, the Avengers went into halftime tied 0-0.

The pouring rain that started just after kick off in the second half wasn't enough to stop the Avengers offense. Out of halftime, ASA scored in the 48th minute, on a goal from Reny Farfan off of a corner kick rebound.  Estelle Badoadana scored the second goal for ASA in the 60th minute on a breakaway pass from Kaylane Araujo. Quickly after, in the 67th minute, Sara Quevedo scored off of a cross from Araujo, her second assist of the game.  Araujo would find the back of the net later in the game in the 85th minute.  One final insurance goal from Tamara Queiroz finished the game 5-0 in favor of the Avengers.

The Avengers are now 12-0-0 on the season. Leticia Sandoval's clean slate marks the sixth game where ASA has shutout their opponent.
