Lady Avengers Earn Highest Ranking in Program's History

The ASA Lady Avengers have annually fielded a top-notch program, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that they're ranked again this season.

What will be of note, however, is that they are currently holding the program's highest-ever ranking following its District 3 Championship win over Community College of Rhode Island, last Sunday.

The current rankings in the National Junior College Athetic Association (NJCAA) has the Lady Avengers (10-0-2) ranked seventh. ASA has been on a roll all season, culminating with their 8-2 win over CCRI on October 30, and a thrilling 1-0 vanquishing of rival Monroe College in the Region XV championship game, two days prior.

The Lady Avengers, who have registered eight clean-slate performances, jumped up two places in the rankings from a week ago, thanks to their recent championship-winning performances. They are undoubtedly hoping to reach higher grounds, and will hopefully catch the six programs currently ahead in the rankings.
