The ASA Lady Avengers have run roughshod over the competition, and Wednesday's 8-0 beating of Mercer County Community College wasn't any different.

Led by Fabiana Miguel Dos Rios's hat trick, ASA (5-0) and two saves by freshman goalie Sarah Dinert, the Lady Avengers used numerous early scoring chances to dismantle Mercer.

Miguel Dos Rios, a sophomore midfielder, also added an assist, but she wasn't alone in plundering the Vikings. Ilana Mendonca added two goals and an assist, while Stephanie Reyes, Lizeth Celaya, and Michaela Drescher also each chipped in with a goal apiece.

Aiding the goals were Kaylane Araujo, who had two assists, and Ariana Rodriguez, Iana Freitas, Samara Da Silva, and Reny Farfan who all added a helper apiece.

It was a total destruction of Mercer, but they're not alone in the beatings, as the Lady Avengers have discarded every opponent so far this season by yielding just one goal and never scoring less than three goals in a game.

Up next for the Lady Avengers is a 1 p.m. road date at SUNY Broome Community College, Saturday the 17th.
