Simon, Linton Reach Finals At 2013 Indoor Nationals

LUBBOCK, TX --- Sophomore Ramoye Simon and freshman Tanasia Linton led the way for the ASA Track & Field contigent that competed at the 2013 NJCAA Indoor National Championships, held on the campus of Texas Tech University, reaching the finals of their respective individual events.

Simon came away with ASA's standout performance, claiming fifth overall in the Men's 55 Meter Hurdles with a time of 7.49, a time Simon has only best once - during his preliminary season-best time of 7.47.

Linton also ran a season-best time in her prelims for the 200 Meter Dash, registering a time of 24.87 and cracking into the final eight. She would keep the eight spot in the finals with a time of 25.07.
