#2 ASA Ends Fall Season With Solid Showing at Youngstown Invitational

Youngstown, OH----The ASA College men's tennis team ended their Fall season this weekend with a strong showing at the Youngstown State University Invitational among four-year colleges and universities. 

The doubles team consisting on sophomores Tim Srkala and Christian Waldron advanced to the semifinals in Flight A, coming away with a third-place finish for the weekend.  Srkala had similar succes in the Flight A singles tournament, climbing his way to the finals beofore falling to Youngstown's Silviu Mistreanu (6-3, 6-5(2) ).  Waldron advanced to the semifinals in the Flight B tournament in three sets.  

The Avengers will be training through the Winter before starting their official Spring season in March.  With a #2 finish at the 2013 Nationals, the Avengers are eyeing their first National Championship in the program's relatively short history.
