Men's Tennis Stays Sharp at Georgetown Invitational

Washington D.C.----The ASA College men's tennis team kept busy and made their name known this past weekend at the Georgetown University Invitational.  The Avengers wound up sweeping the singles and doubles events against four-year colleges.  

Sophomore standout Tim Srkala and freshman standout Jack Boling both advanced to the finals for an all-ASA championship round.  The duo would team up and win the doubles event.  Overall the Avengers finished 16-3 in every match played. 

Here's rundown of the weekend: 

Finals Men's Doubles: 
Srkala/Boling defeated Ulrik Thomson/Daniel O'Conner (George Washington) 8-3
Semifinals Men's Doubles:
Srkala defeated Robin Riethmueller (Norfolk State) 6-2, 7-5
Boling defeated Dmitry Zyhmantovich (Norfolk State) 6-4, 6-4

Finals Men's Singles:
Srkala vs Boling 
Semifinals Men's Singles:
Srkala defeated Robin Riethmueller (Norfolk State) 6-2, 7-5
