Men's Tennis Secures Win at Stony Brook, 5-2

Stony Brook, NY----The ASA College men's tennis continued their eight match winning streak this afternoon by defeating NCAA Division I member, Stony Brook University.  The Avengers improve to 10-2 as a team with the victory.

After winning the doubles point, the Avengers were able to win four of their six singles matches to secure a comfortable 5-2 victory.  Both sophomores Nail Khabiyev and Pavel Zhadanov were able to grind out their first sets 7- 6 (4) and 7-6 (5) respectively in order to win in two sets.  Freshman #1 Tim Srkala continued his impressive season by defeating Stony Brook's #1 Rick Timmerman.  

The Avengers will be back on the court at Longwood University on April 10.  The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM.
