  • Avengers Earn All- Region Honors

    The ASA College men's lacrosse team had six Avengers named All-Region at the annual coaches meeting last night. Three Avengers were named to the First Team and three to the Second Team.
  • Men's Lax Edges Brookdale in Regular Season Finale

    The ASA College men's lacrosse team ended the regular the season on a high note with a 15-14 victory at Brookdale CC this afternoon. The Avengers improve to 5-7 with the victory. ASA will be back on the field for the Region XV playoff at #6 Suffolk CC on Tuesday, April 21st. Faceoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM at Suffolk's Brentwood Campus field. Winner will move on to play in the region championship match at #2 Nassau CC.
  • Lacrosse Rolls to 15-6 Win Against Cecil

    The ASA College posted a strong first half to cruise to a 15-6 home victory against Cecil College this afternoon. ASA improves to 4-6 with the win. The Avengers will return to region play at #2 Nassau CC on Tuesday, April 7th. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
  • Men's Lax Wins Second In a Row at Morris, 16-11

    The ASA College men's lacrosse won their second in a row this afternoon, defeating the County College of Morris 16-11. ASA improves to 3-5 with the road win. The Avengers will play their first regional contest at Suffolk CC on Wednesday, April 1st. Faceoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM at the Brentwood campus.
  • Lacrosse Beats Catonsville, 18-12

    The ASA College men's lacrosse team got back in the winning column this afternoon, defeating CCBC Catonsville 18-12. ASA improves to 2-5 with the road win. The Avengers will be back on the road on Monday, March 30th at the County College of Morris. Faceoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
  • Lacrosse Loses Close One at #10 Union CC
    March 25, 2015
    The ASA College men's lacrosse team was right there this afternoon, but #10 Union was able to escape a late 4th quarter surge by the Avengers. The home team would hold on for the 14-12 victory to improve to 3-1 on the season. ASA drops to 1-5. The Avengers will be back in action on Friday, March 27th, at the College of Southern Maryland. Face-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
  • Avengers Can't Hold Off #5 Anne Arundel

    The ASA College men's lacrosse dropped a hard fought effort this afternoon at home this afternoon against #5 nationally ranked Anne Arundel. The Avengers fall to 1-4 with the loss. The Avengers will be back on the field at Union CC on Wednesday, March 25th. Face-off is scheduled for 3:30 PM at Snyder Ave. Field.

    The ASA College men's lacrosse team notched their first win of the 2015 season under rookie head coach, Shaun Church, this afternoon against Ocean County College 15-10. The Avengers improve to 1-3 with the home opening victory. The Avengers will be back at home at Aviator Sports Complex on Thursday, March 19, to host Anne Arundel; faceoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM.

    The ASA College men's lacrosse was recently ranked 10th nationally in Lacrosse Allstars's preseason NJCAA poll. ASA will look to improve on last season's 4-6 record under new head coach, Shaun Church.

    Freshman attack, Josh Byrne, was named a First Team All-American by the NJCAA released today. Byrne, the 2014 Region XV Offensive Player of the Year, is the second Avenger to win the honor in the program's three year existence.

    Garden City, NY---The ASA College men’s lacrosse team had eight student-athletes named to the All-Region XV team at the annual coaches’ meeting. ASA would have an even four and four named to the first and second teams. Freshman attack, Josh Byrne, would be named the region’s offensive Player of the Year.
  • Avengers Fall to Suffolk in Overtime, 13-12; End Season

    The ASA College men's lacrosse team ended their season this afternoon, losing to Region XV member Suffolk CC in overtime, 13-12. Suffolk will move on to play Nassau CC in the Region XV championship for a chance at the National Championships being held at Nassau CC this year. The Avengers end their season with a 4-6 overall record including 3-6 against NJCAA affiliated teams.
  • Avengers Almost Knock Off #5 Harford

    The ASA College men's lacrosse team nearly knocked off #5 Harford Community College this afternoon. However, the Owls would prevail, defeating the Avengers 16-12. ASA drops to 4-5 overall on the season. Harford improves to 8-5 with the victory. The Avengers will be back on the field on Wednesday, April 23rd, at Suffolk CC at 4:00 PM for the Region XV play-in game. The winner will advance to the Region XV finals against Nassau CC.
