Men's Lax Wins Second In a Row at Morris, 16-11

Succasunna, NJ---The ASA College men's lacrosse won their second in a row this afternoon, defeating the County College of Morris 16-11.  ASA improves to 3-5 with the road win.  The Avengers will play their first regional contest at Suffolk CC on Wednesday, April 1st.  Faceoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM at the Brentwood campus.  

Two man-up goals in the first quarter helped the Avengers dictate the flow for the remainder of the contest.  ASA only committed four penalties on the afternoon.  

Attackman, Steve Zolezzi, led the Avengers with four goals.  Attackman Cory Boyle had another well-balanced offensive showing, adding three goals and two assist.  Sophomore middie Kier Johnson netted two along with dropping off three assists.  He would also win more than half of his faceoffs.  

Freshman goalie Peter Penalvert saved 15 in all sixty minutes of action.
