Brickhouse Signs With Coppin State

Brooklyn, NY---Two-year Avenger point guard, Daquan Brickhouse, has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic career at NCAA Division I Coppin State University.

The Peekskill native finished his sophomore season as ASA's all-time scoring leader in program history with 764 points in two years.  Brickhouse also finishes his career at ASA as the program's all-time assist leader with 294 over two seasons.  Defensively, he was just as good for the Avengers ranking second all-time in steals with 229.

This past season, the 5-8 dynamo took on the leadership role and didn't let the coaching staff down.  The Avengers recorded their most wins in a season in program history (28, losing only four), captured the Region XV regular season and tournament titles, and achieved their first ever national ranking (#19).  Brickhouse played a huge part in a large number of the wins this season with his end-of-the-game heroics.

Coppin State will be getting a two-time All-Region (1st Team Honoree for 2012-13) and the Region XV Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
