Three Avengers Named All-Region; Davis Grabs POY

New Rochelle, NY-----All-Region XV teams were announced yesterday during the annual post-season region meeting and three Avengers came away with All-Region honors including ASA's Eian Davis who was named Player of the Year.  ASA is 2012-13 regular season champions and will be the #1 seed in this weekend's Region XV-Division I tournament.  

Eian Davis (Region XV-Division I POY)- The sophomore point guard was sensational for the Avengers this season.  He led the team in scoring through 28 games averaging 16.4 points per game.  He currently leads the region in assists averaging 7.8 per game, good for fourth best in the NJCAA.  The Brooklyn, NY scored a season high 34 points in an overtime win against fellow Region XV member Westchester.  Davis' high in assists came against Kingsborough early in the season where he finished with a program high 16.  He recorded seven double-doubles on the season and flirted with a triple double (shy one rebound or assist) in four games.  

Daquan Brickhouse (First Team Region XV-Division I)- The 5-8 sophomore guard moved up to the First Team after being named to the Second Team last season.  Brickhouse improved his scoring this season finishing second on the team with 13.0 points per game.  His career high came this season at Army Prep where he finished with 25 points in an 81-73 victory.  Against Northhapmton CC this season, Brickhouse finished with a season high 11 assists.  In his career, Brickhouse has been known to hit the clutch shot or make the play at the end of the game for the win.  

Victor Ljuljdjuraj (Second Team Region XV Division I)- The sophomore forward was a huge addidtion this season for the Avengers.  Ljuljdjuraj is third on the team in points per game with 11.6.  He leads the Avengers in rebounding averaging 8.5 boards per game.  The Bronx, NY native also led the team in blocks with 3.0 per contest.  Ljuljdjuraj's season high in scoring so far came against Northhampton CC in the Herkimer CCC Tournament where he finished with 20 in a blowout win.  He also has a team-high nine double-doubles so far on the season.
