    ASA Avengers Assistant Head Coach Greg Lauri is a busy man these days, as he and his new staff are trying to take the program to new heights. But the veteran coach always has time to volunteer his services for great causes, such as the First and Goal Foundation football camp.

  • Football Edged by #16 Globe, 43-38

    The ASA football team lost a heartbreaker this evening, falling to NJCAA independent #16 Globe in the final minute of the game, 43-38. ASA drops to 6-4 overall on the season. The Avengers will look to wrap up the 2015 season at Nassau CC on Saturday, November 7. Kickoff is set for noon at Mitchell Field in Uniondale, NY. A will secure a second-place finish in the Northeast Football Conference.
  • Football Falls at Hudson Valley

    The ASA College football team lost a non-conference game on the road this afternoon at Hudson Valley, 41-7. The Avengers drop to 6-3 overall on the season. ASA will be back on the road on Halloween in Newark, NJ to take their third independent team in a row, Globe. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Shabazz High School.

    The ASA College football program got themselves back in the win column this afternoon with a non-conference victory at Erie CC. ASA improves 6-2 on the season. The Avengers will be back on the road at Hidson Valley CC on Saturday, October 24th. Kickoff is set for 1:30 PM.
  • Avengers Fall to Lackawanna in Game for 1st

    The ASA College football team suffered a 63-13 loss for first place and at least a share of the Northeast Football Conference championship to Lackawanna College at home this afternoon. ASA drops to 5-2 overall on the season and 2-1 in conference play. The Falcons improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. The Avengers will be on the road at Erie next weekend at Erie CC. Kickoff is scheduled for noon inn Orchard Park, NY.
  • Football Ranked #17 in Latest NJCAA Poll

    The ASA College (5-1; 2-0) football team has broken back into the NJCAA top-20 national rankings at #17, released this afternoon by the National Junior College Athletic Association. Ironically enough, the Avengers share the spot with Northeast Football Conference rival, Lackawanna College. The two teams face off this Saturday, October 10th, at MCU Park in Brooklyn for first place in the NFC, the Northeast Football Championship for the Falcons, and at least a share of the title for the Avengers. Both teams enter the game with identical 5-1 records. It will only be the Falcons second conference game, having already beaten Nassau CC who ranked #2 nationally (NJCAA poll) at the time they played.
  • Tidwell and Hoffman Named Conference Players of the Week

    Sophomore running back, Deion Tidwell and freshman kicker, Ross Hoffman have been named the Offensive and Special Teams Northeast Football Conference Players of the Week respectively for their efforts at Dean College on Saturday.
  • Football Wins Fifth Straight At Dean, 23-9

    On a soggy afternoon, the ASA College football team improved to 5-1 on the season and 2-0 in Northeast Football Conference play, defeating Dean College 23-9. ASA will play their first and only home game of the season against current #20 Lackawanna College, which could eventually determine the NFC Championship. Kickoff is set for noon at MCU Park (Cyclones Stadium) in Coney Island, NY.
  • Football Grabs Fourth Straight at Wagner JV

    The ASA College football team won their fourth straight game, defeating Wagner College JV 34-3. ASA improves to 4-1 overall with the non-NJCAA victory. The Avengers will return to Northeast Football Conference play on Saturday, October 3rd, at Dean College. Kickoff is set for noon in Franklin, MA.

  • Deion Tidwell Earns 2nd Player of the Week Honors in a Row

    Sophomore running back, Deion Tidwell, did not have any let down this week after his 273 rushing yard performance last week against former #9 ranked Georgia Military. On Saturday at Monroe, Tidwell continued to make defenders miss and used his breakaway speed to rack up 228 on the ground against the Mustangs in the Avengers' Northeast Football Conference opener.

    The ASA College football team opened their Northeast Football Conference schedule with a win tonight, defeating Monroe College 42-22. ASA improves to 3-1 overall on the season, and is their third win in a row. Monroe falls to 1-2, suffering their second conference loss in a row. ASA is 4-0 historically against the Mustangs.

    The ASA College football team cruised to a 41-0 victory this afternoon for their first win of the 2015 season. ASA is now 1-1 on the young season. The Avengers will be back on the road at James Madison University on September 13th to take on current #12 Georgia Military College at 1:00 PM.

    The ASA College (NY) dropped their 2015 season opener on the road this evening at ASA College counterpart, ASA Miami. With 42 seconds remaining in the game, the Silver Storm kicked through a 27-yard field goal attempt giving them the lead for good, 17-16. The Avengers will be back on the road on Sunday, September 6th, to take on Widener University JV. Kickoff is scheduled for noon at the Chester, PA four-year school.

    MIAMI, FL – History will be made on August 29th, 2015 with the first ever junior college football game played in the state of Florida. ASA College Miami, the first ever junior college football program in the state of Florida, will host their college system counterpart, #17 ASA College (Brooklyn, NY), at their home field, Ted Hendricks Stadium.

ASA (NY) opens on the road at ASA College counterpart and first-year program, ASA Miami, on August 29th at 7:00 PM.

    In the month of preseason team honors, sophomore tackle, Charles Baldwin, was recently named to the College Football America Junior College Starting Lineup. The honor is CFA's version of All America.
