Mount Dora, FL-----ASA College defensive end Trevor Harris has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and football career at the University of Houston. Harris is the second ASA football player to sign with an FBS school during the mid-year signing period in the last week.
The tremendous athlete from Mount Dora, FL made the switch to the defensive line from wide receiver this season and found his niche' helping an ASA defense that only allowed opposing offenses 140.6 yards per game. Harris finished the season with 24 tackles in seven games played. He had a season-high eight tackles including a sack and another tackles for a loss against NEFC member Hudson Valley.
Harris will join a Houston squad that finished third in their division in Conference USA season. Two seasons ago the Cougars played in the Conference USA championship game.
