  • Avengers Named ALL-Region; Valles Named POY

    With the 2015 baseball season complete, post season honors were recently announced. Seven Avengers were named to the ALL Region XV-DI team including the region's Player of the Year, Miguel Valles.

    The ASA College baseball team will play for their sixth Region XV - Division I championship in a row after defeating Globe 10-2 in both games of a doubleheader this afternoon in the regional playoff. ASA will once again meet with region foe and this year's host, Monroe, at City Park (New Rochelle, NY) in a doubleheader on Friday, May 8th. If necessary, a deciding game is scheduled for May 9th.
  • ASA Doubles Up on Rockland, 16-8

    The ASA College baseball team exploded for seven runs in the seventh inning to have the game called early at Rockland CC this evening. The 16-8 victory helped the Avengers improve to 26-11 overall on the season. It is ASA's sixth win a row. The Avengers will close out the 2015 regular season tomorrow at Dutchess CC at 4:15 PM.
  • Avengers Take Two From Sullivan
    April 26, 2015
    The ASA College baseball team won both games of their doubleheader at Sullivan CC this afternoon. In game one, the Avengers scored nine runs in the third and fourth innings for the 12-6 win. In the second game, ASA rolled to an 11-2 victory in six innings. ASA improves to 25-11 overall with the wins. The Avengers will be back on the diamond on Tuesday at Rockland CC. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
  • Baseball Sweeps Globe Series

    The ASA College baseball team swept the regular season regional series against Globe this afternoon 21-2 in five innings. ASA improves to 23-11 and 7-3 in conference play with the victory. The Avengers will meet with the Knights again on May 1 for a double-header play-off to see who will move on to the Region XV-Division I Championship at Monroe. A third deciding game is scheduled for May 2nd.
  • Avengers Defeat Briarcliffe 9-2

    The ASA College baseball team used a four-run second inning to cruise to a 9-2 at USCAA member, Briarcliffe College this afternoon. ASA improves to 22-11 with the win. The Avengers will close out their region schedule against Globe tomorrow against Globe. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM at Padavan-Preller Field Complex.

    The ASA College baseball team won their second in a row this week, with this afternoon's 12-1 win at Queensborough CC. ASA improves to 19-9 overall with the win. The Avengers will be back on the diamond on Saturday, April 18th, at NJCAA Division II member, Lackawanna College for a double-header beginning at 1:00 PM.

    The ASA College baseball team crushed their way through a 17-0 victory over Rockand CC this afternoon. ASA improves to 18-9 with the non-region victory. The Avengers will be back on the diamond on Thursday, April 16th at Queensborough CC at Preller-Padavan Field. First Pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM. Freshman
  • Avengers Take Series Opener From Monroe, 9-6

    The ASA College baseball team improved to 5-0 in region play this evening, defeating region foe, Monroe 9-6. ASA improves to 16-6 overall with the victory. The series will continue tomorrow, April 10th, at City Park in New Rochelle. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
  • Avengers Take Two More From Globe

    The ASA College baseball team improved to 4-0 in region play this afternoon, winning two more games against Globe. The Avengers are 15-6 overall with the victories. In the first game of the doubleheader, the Avengers shut out the Knights 5-0. Game 2 brought a little more excitement, with the Avengers holding Globe off 6-4. ASA will be back on the diamond on Monday, April 6th at the County College of Morris. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
  • Avengers Roll to 17-1 Victory Over Globe

    The ASA College baseball team opens regional play with a 2-0 record after beating Globe again this afternoon, 17-1. Stopped by the umpire in the sixth inning, the Avengers improve to 13-5 overall with the win. ASA will continue their series against the Knights on Saturday in a scheduled doubleheader at Preller-Padavan Fields in Jamaica, NY.

    The ASA College baseball team scored six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to secure their first region win against Globe this afternoon. The Avengers improve to 12-5 overall and 1-0 in region play with the home victory.

    The ASA College baseball team got back on the winning track this afternoon, defeating Queensborugh CC, 5-2 and 7-3 in a doubleheader. ASA improves to 11-5 with the victories. ASA will be back on the field for their first region game at Globe on March 31st. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM at Preller Field in Queens, NY.
  • Baseball Gets Off to Hot Start

    The ASA College baseball team is off to their best start in program history with a 9-3 record returning to New York after their successful trip to Florida. The Avengers will be back on the field at Cumberland CC on March 17th. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
