Avengers Name Chris Tempone New Men's Lacrosse Head Coach
BROOKLYN, NY. -- Chris Tempone will be the next leader of the ASA College men's lacrosse program as announced by ASA Director of Athletics, Kenney Wilcox.
 
Coach Tempone comes to ASA after serving as the offensive coordinator for the Hofstra Men's Club Lacrosse program the last 3 years under Vince Daniels where he led the team to an 8-4 record and a trip to the NCLL Tournament each year as the offense was ranked 12th in 2018,  8th in 2017 and 16th in 2016 in the country.

"It is an honor to be starting up the ASA Men's Lacrosse program again. I am truly humbled and blessed to guide student-athletes along their journey academically and athletically at ASA College. I look forward to bringing an up-tempo & pressure style-of-play with me to ASA and build off the success of the Athletic program and great culture here of  playing college sports in New York City!"
 
Coach Tempone has previously served as the offensive coordinator for ASA College for the 2013 & 2014 seasons under Vince Daniels who started the ASA program back in 2011,  as well as a volunteer coach at Nassau Community College for George Powers from 2014 through 2016.
 
Tempone finished his college playing days at CW Post in Long Island where he received All- League Honors after capturing a JUCO national championship in 1997 where he received All - JUCO honors as well at Nassau Community College.
 
ASA College Men's Lacrosse is a member of the Region XV Conference of the NJCAA and anticipates competing in the 2018-2019 season.
