Madison Square Garden proudly boasts to be the "World's Most Famous Arena," due to the too-many-to-count classic games and events it's hosted since the current iteration was erected in 1968. ASA College will now count towards the growing list of special events held there, as the school was able to sign an agreement to have its 2017 and 2018 graduation ceremonies held at the acclaimed venue.
School President Alex Shchegol made the announcement back in April that ASA's graduating classes of 2017 and '18 will enjoy the special honor.
"The graduation ceremony is for more than 1,000 ASA grads," Shchegol said about the July 28 ceremony. "This is a part of our services to our students and graduates. We always invest in our students and make sure they get the best support, [such as] a learning center, tutorials, [and] advisement."
Shchegol was also proud to add that "ASA helps first-generation students to graduate" and achieve their dreams.
Besides hosting the NBA's New York Knicks, the NHL's New York Rangers, and the WNBA's New York Liberty, The Garden is also used for boxing, concerts, ice shows, circuses, professional wrestling, and other forms of sports and entertainment.
Now, ASA College can proudly be added to the list.
